The Night is Darkest....

Serina freaked out when she saw Rosalyn. However, she was saved by none other than the nude Cage, who ran upstairs and attacked Rosalyn. Rosalyn ran away into the night, hissing spitefully at the two of them. Serina, understandably freaked, ran away. Obviously creeped out by that cowardly bastard Marcus trying to sell her to some demons. Dekkard, using literally no thought, shot out the lock(inside a room) to chase after Serina, leaving Marcus to get in trouble. That creep deserved worse than a grounding.

Serina, when finally caught by Cage, was able to lead him downstairs to one item I found in passing(really, it was odd when I did)where she's set up a dungeon in her basement. Using some cuffs(and possibly setting him up for some dominatrix play) she left him there in the dark, obviously to make him think about what he had done. He did break out eventually, now back to normal, and returned home. Unfortunately, he was already there.....and he wasn't the only one. Samantha had come over to express her feelings for Cage, demanding he admit their attraction. He said that she had to prove her feelings and they made sweet music, only for Cage to lie down next to these two, exhausted, to find both a naked Samantha and himself(again with the naked! Put on some damn pants guys!) side by side. While he was pissed, he went on to do what most people dreamed of and had a threesome....that is, with Samantha, while he fucked himself. Weird.

Dekkard went to the hospital, where he got fixed up and, it seems, got a little action. Katie, the girl who had the run in with the sewer Kraken, was awake and lucid. She seems to have gotten a bit better and, through a few words and understanding of their situations being similar, the two....well, these people do get around, don't they?

School monday. Cage is back to normal. But he's not happy with Marcus, who has been named school president. Obviously his thirty pieces of silver for betraying Serina and his friends. But when he approached Mariko, the girl didn't recognize him, didn't KNOW him. The Inkdrinkers were smart. They made him pay for not giving his all and removing Serina's spell. Unfair to him, but justice for some.....Serina promptly got back at him by asking Mariko out on a date. She was surprised, to say the least. I was pretty excited for this. In the library, the group confronts each other. Marcus defends his actions for trying to sell out Serina being Dekkards fault, while Dekkard said that he was an idiot for dealing with monsters. Cage was a bit angry(because he likes Serina....or desires her anyway),while Serina was rubbing her upcoming date with Mariko in Marcus's face. Marcus's attempts to win her over did nothing but creep Mariko out.

The group went on with their prospective plans. Rosalyn talked to Marcus and tried to get him to finish the job and bring Serina back to the Inkdrinkers, fulfilling their deal and giving him the rest of his price. Marcus tried to talk to Dekkard about it and Dekkard stated he would have to be a mole for them to find out more about the Inkdrinkers and the vampires. Rosalyn went to talk to Serina at a coffee shop and let slip that Sebastian(you know, the big vampire lord)was back, very much alive, having a gift to reform himself. Insane. She said the Inkdrinkers were offering her a chance of power rather than servitude,as they want her to deal with the Chosen. Whatever the Inkdrinkers want, it's not going to be pretty.

Serina told the group everything. Which is surprising, I expected her to sell them out. Turns out she had a phone with her to record the event. Only what she played was her voice promising to betray the group. However, they weren't fooled.

Dekkard studied his books, finding a historical document on Sebastian, who had taken a wound to the right shoulder blade that had cracked the bone and left his heart vulnerable for a kill strike from behind. Marcus tried to make friends by using a pentagram to find out where Sebastian was. Only, when he did, he must have done something wrong. Dekkard was yanked through a portal and sent him into a building downtown thats under construction(but luckily somewhere I put a camera). MAN I'm good! Unfortunately, Sebastian was waiting for him there, along with about thirty vampires. Shit.

Dealing wounds to each other(Dekkard hitting him with a well placed bullet to the face while Sebastian hit him with his claws), Dekkard ran with Sebastian laughing about how he had killed Dekkards family. (Is that true?)The group was able to find Dekkard and came to the rescue. Carrying medieval weaponry(with Dekkard obviously pissed), they charged in....to an abandoned building. No Sebastian, no vampires, no nothing. There was a gift for them, in the form of fifteen pounds of semtex ladled out across the building. The group ran, but the blast caught some of them. Cage was able to shield some of them from the blast, taking the largest brunt of the damage. The group helped each other get to the ambulances(or, in some cases, to drive to the hospital). Surprisingly enough, they were patched up pretty quick. Katie must have some healing touches if Dekkard was so quickly fixed up.

Serina set up a meeting with Rosalyn to hear her deal and met in front of the hospital. She got Rosalyn talking and asked what she would receive. The next thing Rosalyn knows, she's thrown through the air by Cage's car. The group runs out, tapes Rosalyns mouth shut, ties her up(Serina's good with her knots, I'll give her that) and toss her into the trunk of the car, driving her to the school.

Demanding the truth from Rosalyn, Serina used holy water and broken fingers to convince her to give up her info. Rosalyn admitted that Sebastian could release her from her tattoo(being one in her line of sires, whatever the hell that means). Cage began asking about what the Inkdrinkers weaknesses were, but was promptly cut off by Serina forcing a bottle of holy water down Rosalyns neck and Dekkard introducing Rosalyn to a wooden stake to the heart. Cage angrily said that Rosalyn could have told them more, but Serina insisted that there was nothing more to know. She's hiding something. The sooner her friends know it, the better.

Using her phone(which luckily wasn't dusted) Serina told Magnus, a second in command to Sebastian, about Rosalyns death and demanded to talk to the vampire lord himself, asking him to come alone. She was forced to promise Dekkards life for the removal of her tattoo. She agreed and prepared. Dekkard sat with his hands not so tied and Serina prepared a cup of tea. Funny of a vamp to use holy water to steep....

Sebastian came while Dekkard waited in the office. Serina demanded the tattoo removed, but Sebastian wanted Dekkard killed...by her hand....first. Alex switched places with him, turning into an exact copy of Dekkard. Serina pretended to bite Dekkard/Alex and she fell over, seemingly dead. Sebastian removed a tattoo....only, the tattoo that he removed made Serina angry, saying that that wasn't the deal. She promptly tossed the holy water tea in his face, blinding him, as real Dekkard entered. The group slashed at him wildly as Dekkard fought like a madman. Dekkard pulled his gun and fired into Sebastians back while a final strike of the axe from Cage turned the vampire to dust. Unforutnately, Serina was now tattoo-less(which, I gather, meant she couldn't stand in sunlight). Worse, the sun was rising. Serina went to hide in the sewers while the rest of the kids went to class. Funny enough, Magnus, that vampire underling of Sebastians, showed up. Only Sebastian was dead and Serina survived. She demanded that the sun block tattoo be replaced and the tracing tattoo be removed. Magnus, not one to mess with the superior vampire, did as she asked. She headed up to class, now freed of the Inkdrinkers. Only....when she headed up, Magnus's face shifted....to become Sebastian, still alive....but far less human.
