Raymond was back. He was back to his old tricks and his old traps. He wished Marcus a happy presidency and began setting up for another party at his house, inviting that girl, Cassidy, to come over. Serina was gloating over the freedom of the Inkdrinkers(which, so I understand, means she can kill without being traced. How wonderful for all of us). Marcus was pretty subdued, which is preferable for me. Cassidy was given an invitation by Raymond to his party(already he's doing this. Ridiculous!)
Dekkard went to the hospital that day. He told Katie that the two of them were over, because of what he did, because of who he was. And although she shed tears over their relationship being over, she understood. Shame on Dekkard is all I have to say. Cage and Alex were arguing all day, but he got a few visitors in the form of a flock of ravens. I never know what their relationship status is. It's probably "complicated",if anything.
Cassidy was heading to Raymonds party when she was approached by Bart, who offered her some drugs. Obviously pressured, she took them, emptying her wallet in the process. They better have been some good drugs....Speaking of drugs, Raymond went to Dekkards place and said that he was an addict who needed his next pickup, but his grandfather wasn't too happy to see Raymond and tossed him out, refusing to listen. Raymond made Abed send the grandfather his way so Abed would egg Dekkards house. The grandfather was tricked by Raymond and listened to his crazy story about Dekkard needing to be grounded. Later, at the REAL party, Raymond talked to the group and stated that they needed to deal with a drug dealer...Bart, his supplier, denying his involvement in the drug trade. Dekkard found Abed egging his house and snapped a picture, but also was grounded by his grandfather for his drug history.
Serina went with Cassidy to deal with Bart, using her skill to hypnotize him into leaving town. However, Cassidy...argued. The two argued about her using this ability and....well, Cassidy changed. Into a giant wolf-woman, I guess. And Serina, obviously freaked out, ran. Lost a chunk of herself in the process, but she made it. Meanwhile, Cassidywolf goes down towards Chinatown on a rampage, but not before attacking the hypnotized Bart, who was on the phone with Raymond. Tore him to pieces. Good thing I have a strong stomach.
Serina called Dekkard, who was still on over 48 hours of no sleep, to come to help deal with this new werewolf threat, the group coming to chase the werewolf through a rampage of dead bodies and destroyed property. The rampage lead back to where they started, Raymonds place. Raymond, high off his ass, was attacked by the werewolf, but was not afraid. This idiot friggin' SEDUCES the thing. Is this even possible? And goes upstairs with it. The group bursts in to find Raymond getting it on with Cassidywolf. WTF do these people do to get into these situations?!! Cassidywolf attacks the group, messing up Dekkard before getting chained by Cage and dragged out. The group manages to get her into a car and drive her to Cage's garage, where she's hoisted up to keep her from messing up anything else.
In the basement, the vampires were getting restless. Serina told them they worked for her now. Whenever her blood was shed, the vampires would come to fight for her. Pretty good deal. The next morning, Cage lowered Cassidy(who, now without clothes, was freaked out as well)down. He tried to explain that she was a werewolf, but she thought he was crazy and ran out. It was an awkward morning for everyone. Serina, wanting to know more about the Inkdrinkers, talked to Magnus, who told her about the Masters, the men who chose the Slayers to fight the monsters. Sending her to find history on it, he kept it secret still that he was Sebastian. At "The Magic Flute", Jerry, the owner, was approached by Serina, who convinced him to get her the book, which he ordered promptly.
Jerry, worried(so it seemed) called Dekkard and said that he needed to come to the shop right away, as the line(what line?)was in danger and the Chosens strength would be taken. Serina arrived at the Magic Flute to pick up the book...and promptly hypnotized Jerry, making him forget about her getting the book. Dekkard, who stopped her from leaving, went to talk to Jerry....only, he had forgotten everything, unbeknownst to Dekkard, making him leave disappointed. Dekkard asked Serina a favour when his grandfather shouted at him about his connection to Raymond and he was promptly hypnotized. Dekkard decided to move in with Cage. The two unlikely compatriots left to read the book, and were going to find out the truth about the Masters(whoever they are)and their connection to the Inkdrinkers.
Raymond was given a warning by Cassidy that the police were on his tail(who were put there by Dekkard and Serina, implicating him in the death of Bart and his drug dealing, using a hypnotized Abed)and he called his dad, who called his lawyers. Sitting on his high backed chair and enjoying himself, he seemed less than frightened by the approaching sirens. He had sent Katie a gift of bath salts in a fruit basket and she was restrained after going half mad.
Things ended badly for everyone. Raymond, while under investigation, probably won't be convicted. Money in the right pockets greases the wheels and all that. Katie was visited at the hospital by Sebastian. Cage's father opened the door to Sarah, Cage's girlfriend(Cage's DEAD girlfriend)standing there and stating her hunger before she leapt on him and began tearing at his flesh. And a big truck showed up in town, approached by a TV crew. You know that TV show, "Biggest Hunts"? Well, the host, Nigel Hunt, said that he was in town for a new hunt. Opening the truck, which was full of silver bullets , guns of all types and weapons, he stated "I'm going to hunt a werewolf."

The Night is Darkest....
Serina freaked out when she saw Rosalyn. However, she was saved by none other than the nude Cage, who ran upstairs and attacked Rosalyn. Rosalyn ran away into the night, hissing spitefully at the two of them. Serina, understandably freaked, ran away. Obviously creeped out by that cowardly bastard Marcus trying to sell her to some demons. Dekkard, using literally no thought, shot out the lock(inside a room) to chase after Serina, leaving Marcus to get in trouble. That creep deserved worse than a grounding.
Serina, when finally caught by Cage, was able to lead him downstairs to one item I found in passing(really, it was odd when I did)where she's set up a dungeon in her basement. Using some cuffs(and possibly setting him up for some dominatrix play) she left him there in the dark, obviously to make him think about what he had done. He did break out eventually, now back to normal, and returned home. Unfortunately, he was already there.....and he wasn't the only one. Samantha had come over to express her feelings for Cage, demanding he admit their attraction. He said that she had to prove her feelings and they made sweet music, only for Cage to lie down next to these two, exhausted, to find both a naked Samantha and himself(again with the naked! Put on some damn pants guys!) side by side. While he was pissed, he went on to do what most people dreamed of and had a threesome....that is, with Samantha, while he fucked himself. Weird.
Dekkard went to the hospital, where he got fixed up and, it seems, got a little action. Katie, the girl who had the run in with the sewer Kraken, was awake and lucid. She seems to have gotten a bit better and, through a few words and understanding of their situations being similar, the two....well, these people do get around, don't they?
School monday. Cage is back to normal. But he's not happy with Marcus, who has been named school president. Obviously his thirty pieces of silver for betraying Serina and his friends. But when he approached Mariko, the girl didn't recognize him, didn't KNOW him. The Inkdrinkers were smart. They made him pay for not giving his all and removing Serina's spell. Unfair to him, but justice for some.....Serina promptly got back at him by asking Mariko out on a date. She was surprised, to say the least. I was pretty excited for this. In the library, the group confronts each other. Marcus defends his actions for trying to sell out Serina being Dekkards fault, while Dekkard said that he was an idiot for dealing with monsters. Cage was a bit angry(because he likes Serina....or desires her anyway),while Serina was rubbing her upcoming date with Mariko in Marcus's face. Marcus's attempts to win her over did nothing but creep Mariko out.
The group went on with their prospective plans. Rosalyn talked to Marcus and tried to get him to finish the job and bring Serina back to the Inkdrinkers, fulfilling their deal and giving him the rest of his price. Marcus tried to talk to Dekkard about it and Dekkard stated he would have to be a mole for them to find out more about the Inkdrinkers and the vampires. Rosalyn went to talk to Serina at a coffee shop and let slip that Sebastian(you know, the big vampire lord)was back, very much alive, having a gift to reform himself. Insane. She said the Inkdrinkers were offering her a chance of power rather than servitude,as they want her to deal with the Chosen. Whatever the Inkdrinkers want, it's not going to be pretty.
Serina told the group everything. Which is surprising, I expected her to sell them out. Turns out she had a phone with her to record the event. Only what she played was her voice promising to betray the group. However, they weren't fooled.
Dekkard studied his books, finding a historical document on Sebastian, who had taken a wound to the right shoulder blade that had cracked the bone and left his heart vulnerable for a kill strike from behind. Marcus tried to make friends by using a pentagram to find out where Sebastian was. Only, when he did, he must have done something wrong. Dekkard was yanked through a portal and sent him into a building downtown thats under construction(but luckily somewhere I put a camera). MAN I'm good! Unfortunately, Sebastian was waiting for him there, along with about thirty vampires. Shit.
Dealing wounds to each other(Dekkard hitting him with a well placed bullet to the face while Sebastian hit him with his claws), Dekkard ran with Sebastian laughing about how he had killed Dekkards family. (Is that true?)The group was able to find Dekkard and came to the rescue. Carrying medieval weaponry(with Dekkard obviously pissed), they charged in....to an abandoned building. No Sebastian, no vampires, no nothing. There was a gift for them, in the form of fifteen pounds of semtex ladled out across the building. The group ran, but the blast caught some of them. Cage was able to shield some of them from the blast, taking the largest brunt of the damage. The group helped each other get to the ambulances(or, in some cases, to drive to the hospital). Surprisingly enough, they were patched up pretty quick. Katie must have some healing touches if Dekkard was so quickly fixed up.
Serina set up a meeting with Rosalyn to hear her deal and met in front of the hospital. She got Rosalyn talking and asked what she would receive. The next thing Rosalyn knows, she's thrown through the air by Cage's car. The group runs out, tapes Rosalyns mouth shut, ties her up(Serina's good with her knots, I'll give her that) and toss her into the trunk of the car, driving her to the school.
Demanding the truth from Rosalyn, Serina used holy water and broken fingers to convince her to give up her info. Rosalyn admitted that Sebastian could release her from her tattoo(being one in her line of sires, whatever the hell that means). Cage began asking about what the Inkdrinkers weaknesses were, but was promptly cut off by Serina forcing a bottle of holy water down Rosalyns neck and Dekkard introducing Rosalyn to a wooden stake to the heart. Cage angrily said that Rosalyn could have told them more, but Serina insisted that there was nothing more to know. She's hiding something. The sooner her friends know it, the better.
Using her phone(which luckily wasn't dusted) Serina told Magnus, a second in command to Sebastian, about Rosalyns death and demanded to talk to the vampire lord himself, asking him to come alone. She was forced to promise Dekkards life for the removal of her tattoo. She agreed and prepared. Dekkard sat with his hands not so tied and Serina prepared a cup of tea. Funny of a vamp to use holy water to steep....
Sebastian came while Dekkard waited in the office. Serina demanded the tattoo removed, but Sebastian wanted Dekkard killed...by her hand....first. Alex switched places with him, turning into an exact copy of Dekkard. Serina pretended to bite Dekkard/Alex and she fell over, seemingly dead. Sebastian removed a tattoo....only, the tattoo that he removed made Serina angry, saying that that wasn't the deal. She promptly tossed the holy water tea in his face, blinding him, as real Dekkard entered. The group slashed at him wildly as Dekkard fought like a madman. Dekkard pulled his gun and fired into Sebastians back while a final strike of the axe from Cage turned the vampire to dust. Unforutnately, Serina was now tattoo-less(which, I gather, meant she couldn't stand in sunlight). Worse, the sun was rising. Serina went to hide in the sewers while the rest of the kids went to class. Funny enough, Magnus, that vampire underling of Sebastians, showed up. Only Sebastian was dead and Serina survived. She demanded that the sun block tattoo be replaced and the tracing tattoo be removed. Magnus, not one to mess with the superior vampire, did as she asked. She headed up to class, now freed of the Inkdrinkers. Only....when she headed up, Magnus's face shifted....to become Sebastian, still alive....but far less human.

"The Weekend" or "Two Parties and a Funeral."
After the deal went down in front of the school(with Dekkard pulling the "After school special"crap and Serina sinking her fangs into Raymond) it was Friday. Final day for ballots of school presidency, last minute entrants(yes, that does happen if you're not on the ball) and Raymonds party. Oddly, Raymond wasn't there, which was a real shame. Him and his drug dealing gang seemed like peanuts compared to all the drama that went down that day.
Serina is a vampire. I really don't understand that. I mean, vampires burst into flames in sunlight, don't they? Except she doesn't. She sure as hell doesn't sparkle either. I'd be scared if I wasn't so damn attracted.
Samantha made a plea to Cage to run for school presidency once again, something that Cage was less than interested in. Meanwhile, Serina was able to convince Samantha to back HER(women power and all that). Dekkards' plan obviously doesn't sit well with her and she's going to try to stop it ASAP. Dekkard, however, had cancelled his own plans of running in favour of his job in the school paper. His article on gaining support and help from the school paper seemed to be less than well received, as Stan thought it was a waste of print....at least for today. He stated that he would print the story....but only if Dekkard spent some private time with him in the school bathroom. Dekkard refused point blank. More on that in a second.
Marcus was approached by Serina, who wanted his help. Apparantly, a spell was on her. Something that bound her and limited her strength. She wanted it gone and she promised, in return for his help, she would get Marcus together with Mariko. Which was a good idea, since Marcus fucked up his attempt to ask her to the party when he awkwardly asked to be her escort. He had run out embarrassed and slammed his head into a locker soon after, so him taking Serinas' help was really the best option. However, it turned out to not be the only one.
Alex seemed to have mellowed in her appreciation of Raymond since the "incident". The incident being him banging her mom and almost being killed by her when she tried to take his place. She and Cage were going out on a date instead of going to the party. Those two are made for each other....or so I thought. Alex skipped out on last period to get a bottle of sleeping pills(the pharmacy cameras were easy to hack). I wonder if she had the same plan as Raymond?
Dekkard went to the principal and told an up and up lie, that Stan was a pedophile and Dekkard was the better choice for head of the school paper. Stan was removed at the principals behest. This is bad.
Marcus, meanwhile, was studying in the library when they showed up. Whatever they were, they caused some sort of temporal effect that screwed up my cameras. They couldn't be properly filmed, so I had to put the footage through about fifteen filters, but I was able to unscramble it and see and hear what they were saying. There were three of them. Hooded and cloaked. They called themselves the Hunters and they talked about serving a greater power, the Inkdrinkers. None of the books I have reference them, nor any fable or fairy tale, but the Hunters talked about them with great reverence. They offered Marcus a trade. In exchange for Marcus using his magic not to help Serina, but to bind her and wither her, they would give him Mariko, school presidency and the love of the classmates. When you're a geek like Marcus, what do you think the answer is to that? Those things gave me the creeps though.....
Cage was working out in the gym when Serina used her feminine wiles on him. The two made a visit to the gym showers and had a merry romp before Cage exited and found Alex. Alex was all excited for her date, but quite clearly pissed off when Serina exited the boys showers wearing nothing but a towel and a satisfied smirk, stating that Cage was worth it. Alex stormed off soon after.
Serina was outfitting Mariko(as she had promised she would) with one of her more fashionable outfits(and,as I said, don't ask how I got inside. I nearly got caught and butchered like a lamb, Serina has ears like the devil)and, not knowing that Marcus was playing her for a schmuck, talked about what a great guy he was. Marcus this, Marcus that, you two would be soooo great together! Mariko agreed to let him drive her to the party(good thing that Serina actually knows how to talk to people).
Raymond had spared no expense. The main hall was full of dancers, food, drink and drunken partiers. Some spiked by the roofies that he had put in the punch(though the man of the hour wasn't there). Marcus and Mariko showed up at the party, and Serina and Dekkard.
Cage and Alex were at the Olive Garden(big spender) and they seemed to be getting along okay(as well as can be, considering that Cage had been with Serina. But things seemed to go well enough that they decided to have a little makeup makeout session in the backseat of his musclecar. That turned into makeup sex. That turned into Alex giving him a drink laced with sleeping pills, knocking him out, tossing him naked into the trunk of his own car, dressing in his clothes....and becoming him. Like, totally becoming him, down to the last bicep. Cage isn't going to be happy. Er, the original one.
At the party, Marcus tried to get Serina to give him a token to get the spell started(that traitor) but she wasn't having it until after the party. Again, the camera went screwy, but Marcus talked to something only he could see, which could only mean one thing.... those things were in the room with them. Are they invisible? Must investigate further. Marcus took an intoxicated Mariko upstairs(the roofies really took hold, didn't they?)
Cage/Alex showed up at the party and made an almighty ass of him/herself. Drinking, groping and being a prick. Dekkard showed up and was told by Serina that Marcus had taken Mariko upstairs under the influence. Serina lead him upstairs, but Dekkard decided to attack her while her back was turned, putting a stake to her spine and threatening her, telling her to stay away from his friends. I guess he has some mercy in him after all.
Marcus and Dekkard got Mariko outside, planning to drive her home. Cage/Alex was about to leave too...before finding real Cage, who had since regained conciousness and broken naked from the trunk of his car like a chestburster from the movie "Aliens". Nervous, she beat a hasty retreat, leaving him behind without a stitch of clothing, a phone or his keys. Everybody else seemed too drunk or ignorant to see the Cages' face off. Pity, you'd think people at this school were smarter....no you wouldn't.
Mariko's dad called the cops on Dekkard and Marcus, which is understandable, considering they brought his unconscious, drunk daughter home late. Dekkard beat a hasty retreat with grace(guess he's not a slayer for nothing) while Marcus crashed into some garbage cans and tripped up before jumping into Dekkards car, which peeled off.
Cage wanted to speak to Alex and they decided to meet at neutral ground, which was Serinas' place. As I said, I was in there when I set up the cameras. If I wasn't so interested in keeping incognito, I could have sold something and became richer! Honestly, so many valuable antiques from all over! Even if she has no parents, she's covering it well. Cage and her decided to wait for Alex....and did the one thing I didn't expect. How do they get the energy? Soon enough though, things turned sour....and bloody. Serina tore Cage's throat out with those fangs of hers just as Alex entered the room. Alex, terrified and pissed, used a nearby lamp to smash Serina over the head. Serina burst through a window, leaving Alex behind with the corpse. Alex freaked and left. Hell, I don't blame her. But maybe she could have covered him up before she left. Common courtesy people! Cage took a few hours, but there were definite signs of life when I saw him moving again. He kept calling out for Sarah. I wonder if he sees delusions of her when he comes back or he sees the place between worlds. Is she in limbo? In heaven? The world wants to know!( Or I do.)
Dekkard was planning to go to the hospital to visit Katie, who had been rescued from that sewer kraken. But Marcus wanted his help, since he needed to deal with Serina. Asking him to wait in a side room, Serina came calling, wanting that spell off her permanent. Using some kind of pentagram circle with crazy runes all around it and drawing three vials of blood from Serina, Marcus chanted in gaelic. Suddently, Serina was withering, her body dessicated as if by time. She looked like she was feeling her years and she couldn't fight back, bound by Marcus as well. She screamed at Marcus, telling him that she had trusted him. Marcus defended his actions as she made him seem like an idiot and that he was just doing what he had to, but he didn't look that happy with himself at all. Out of the air, the Hunters appeared. "Back, back, to our lords we will take you" they whispered. However, Dekkard, in true badass fashion, stepped in, armed with a sword. Whatever Serina was, he was still against demons. And his friend had made a deal with them. "I'm going to have to split the difference." he stated. The Hunters threw their cloaks aside. Their faces were demonic, their skins a dark crimson, their bodies powerful. They had swords of their own and they looked skilled. Which is a good thing that Cage showed up then, crashing through Marcus's basement window, again butt naked(what is it with this guy?) and screaming. Whatever was going on in his head, he really was in a temper. Cage and the demons fought, with one exploding when beheaded, while another was stabbed in the throat by Cage, still screaming and mad as hell. Dekkard killed the next one and Serina convinced Marcus to remove the binding spell on her.
Serina booked it out of there(though Cage was looking to follow her, the guy has a one track mind) when she ran into another woman. Gorgeous, pale, with lips like rubies....and something dark in the eyes. "Roselyn?" Serina said. "Hello Serina." Roselyn answered, smiling coldly. Serina looked terrified. And whatever terrifies her scares me shitless.

Summon the Kraken!
School presidency. The ability for someone to gain a modicum more power than usual. Also a chance for assholes to be bigger assholes. Thats what seems to be starting with the voting. Raymond signed up straightaway(obviously)with his three cronies voting for him as well. Meanwhile, Cage himself was interested in putting himself on the top rung(under the persuasive suggestion of Samantha), so HE signed up. This obviously put the two popular kids at odds. Though I wouldn't give Raymond a hope of surviving if it came down to a fistfight, I don't doubt that it would be four to one with his gang on his side.
It started with a brawl in the hallways. Well, not a brawl, but an attempted one. Marcus was hanging out in the hallway, just reading some poetry(haiku, believe it or not, it's because he has a big crush on Mariko).I was just over his shoulder when it happened. Brock knocked his book out of his hand and began picking on him. Luckily, years of getting smacked around made Marcus fast. He dodged Brocks swipes easily. When Dekkard camed in, I wondered if he would pull those M19 11 Colts that he carried around in his bag. Luckily, he just did a piercing stare to Brock, who backed down, but Dekkard seemed just as disturbed by Brock. Brock promised to get Marcus later and walked off. This seemed like the time for Marcus's "sorcerers ways". Samantha had suggested some underhanded tactics in the race, having a locker search on Raymonds locker(which, I'm sure, is full of all manner of drug suppliers stuff), but Cage refused. Bad idea, Raymond wouldn't hesitate like him.
Cage was trying to help out Marcus as well. He seemed to be friendly with Alex(who, I mentioned before, is like a cipher). He talked with her a bit and she seemed to like Marcus, but Marcus is pretty stuck on Mariko. Meanwhile, Raymond had decided to make the playing field a bit more treacherous and told Samantha that Cage had been hitting on Alex(which, as I said, is total BS)and she went off to yell at Cage. She was pretty damn pissed, she almost walked into me! I guess my usual gift isn't working as well as I'd hoped.
Dekkard ditched class. I know he was looking for Katie, that girl who disappeared last week with her friends. My cameras picked him up going into the old aqueduct. That sewer tunnel was slippery as hell, the sullen bastard fell in. He surely had to go home to bathe after that. He did find a shoe though. Definitely was Katies. There was nothing else down there though. No blood, no slime, no trace.
Samantha was throwing an almighty bitchfit at Cage, who was taken away when he had to help Marcus steal something special from Brocks locker. Marcus began chanting to himself and soon enough figured out the combination. Maybe the key was nonsensical jabbering. But he didn't find the token. Meanwhile, Cage was able to convince her that he was speaking to Alex on a friendly basis, not in a dating way. Samantha soon forgave him and he was pretty much convinced to reveal Raymonds habits and hidden job to the police, but Raymond was way quicker, deciding to cut his losses and support Cage instead. This threw a spanner in the works for Cage and fixed the two right up. Popular kids. Don't you hate their guts?
Raymond was making his move on Alex, who was clearly nervous, but glad to be liked. When she was invited to hang out after school with him and his gang. Meanwhile, Cage nonsubtly made it clear to Brock that Marcus was to be left alone. But how does a tough kid convince another tough kid to leave a loser alone? Beating the crap out of him, how else? Brock got his face smashed into the mirror of the shower, blinded with blood and his arm broken. In no uncertain terms, Cage made him swear to leave Marcus alone. For good. Good to have a popular kid on your side, isn't it?
Dekkard was brought along for the ride with Alex, Caitlin and Raymond, but was kicked out when mentioning something about Alex's "shape changing". I thought this odd at first. Read on.
Marcus got a gift of a token from Cage, a towel stained with Brocks blood. Brock is in the hospital. Didn't I mention that he'd get his? Dekkard used the shoe he got from the sewers and Marcus made a fancy circle in that extravagant book barn he calls a basement. Whatever he saw convinced him that Katie might be dead. I hope not. I like Katie. Dekkard, luckily, said he wanted to get rid of whatever was down there to keep it from hurting anyone else. I know whats down there. They should really leave it alone. The weapons he has might not be big enough.
Omg Raymond, stop texting me. He's really going all out with his support for Cage, isn't he?Kind of suspicious....At his mansion, he parted ways with Caitlin, asking for some privacy as he had dinner with Alex. Alex was shown a tour of the mansion, complete with swimming pool, sauna....and master bedroom, which he showed her last. He showed her a fancy dress(are we in "Beauty and the Beast"?) which she felt too uncomfortable to try on, but then was shown first his fancy bathrobe(monogrammed in gold)and then what he wore underneath it, which turned out to be nothing. This broke through her unknowable front and she succumbed beneath the mirrored ceiling of Raymonds bedroom. I decided to shut the cameras down for a bit to give them some privacy, but when I started them again, I noticed that(just for a second) she seemed to have looked just like him. An exact copy. But I might have just been tired.
In the sewers, armed with axes and light artillery, Cage, Dekkard and Marcus were searching. The pipe went underwater, which meant they'd have to swim to find that thing. While Cage tried to lure it in with blood(from his own arm) and Marcus attempted to see it(though he seemed to have been weakened by the vision), Dekkard simply dropped a grenade into the pool and took cover. However, it was less than pleased and struck back, striking Dekkard in the ribs and into a wall with its tentacles. It reared from the water, an enormous kraken, with eyes burning like fire and a roar that nearly shook my camera from the ceiling. Meanwhile, back at the mansion, Raymond was trying to look into the mirror to have a vision, but whatever he saw seemed to have made him mad.
Don't try to find me. Or my cameras.Because you won't. It's a small fortune, but it's worth it if I can see them coming.

The Players
Corvus Grove High School. Location, Toronto Ontario. Oddly enough, the cities population cares more about the recent celebrity break ups than the information I give you right now. But you, the reader, deserve to know.
I'm Joseph Grey. Often enough ignored by the politics of the school, though maybe not enough to avoid being insulted, but all around nice guy. A lot can happen in one day and I got the scoop on it all. Don't ask how I avoided being seen during all of this, you'll have to trust me when I say that this was difficult in itself. For a full understanding of the politics of this school, we'll need to go over the basics. Lets start with the players.
Lets start with the best of the best, Raymond, handsome, king of the castle, popular all around. Rich enough to own a mansion with a swimming pool, where there've been tons of parties (theres one coming up Friday in fact). Rumours around the school (and I'm one who knows it's true) are that Raymond sells drugs with his three lackeys. Yeah, he has three. Bad things come in threes and theres none badder than these thugs. First is Caitlin Green and her brother James. James has been busted several times for drug possession and thinks he's a playa, listening to rap music and wearing his low rider jeans too low and trying to rap. Raymond probably would have failed school already if it wasn't for Caitlin, who covers his ass for note taking in class. Word is she might also be sleeping with Mr. Remlow(Rumlow, that drunk) for Raymond to make sure they pass. Last is certainly Abed, the underachieving best friend of Raymond. Raymond shows off with his convertible and makes sure that he's just on time for class.
Next is Cage. Cage Winters. Some people would call him Cagey, but those people would soon be called history. Captain of the football team, muscular and striking, some say part of him died when his girlfriend Sarah, the captain of the cheerleading squad, passed away six months ago. It could be because he died six months ago too. Don't ask me how he came back, I don't know, but the less said on his girlfriend the better. Driving around in his musclecar, he's definitely the next in the popularity chain after Raymond.
Samantha was made captain of the cheerleading squad after Sarahs passing. Whether they were friends or not, I'm not sure, I didn't get a chance to check it out before the incident in the fields. She definitely has a taste for power and her eyes on Cage(though obviously he's not interested in anyone new yet).
Last of the popular kids is Rachel(Rachelle she says), drama nerd and also resident commercial star, her big claim to fame. I think she wants to work with big directors, which is doubtful at the moment. She's nice though. Most of the other people aren't.
After that, the links in the chain patter off and we have the loose leaves of popularity. Nerds, outcasts, losers and monsters.
Dekkard is the outcast. Everything he looks at is like something he's tracking. He drives around in an old beater, a mustang that breaks down regularly, but you'd be surprised what he keeps in the trunk(no, no dead bodies, but it shouldn't be long now). Weapons. Like, a shit ton of weapons. And not just guns, though theres enough of those to kill a small group or a large elephant. Theres a shitload of necklaces, baubles, rings, pins, staffs and books. Whatever he's preparing for, I hope it's not something against the school. I've got to stay undercover for now though, so I can't speak up about it. Dekkard was raised by his grandparents, especially his WW2 fighter grandfather, after his parents died. Apparantly the trio went for a family outing in the woods. Dekkard came back, but his parents(and the forest) were gone, burned to the ground. Whatever happened to Dekkard must have scarred him somehow.
Serina. Beautiful. Blonde. Dangerous. Transferred from a private school. Apparently with a dad who deals in antiquing. But I know better. She's got an almost otherworldly air about her, something that draws people in. One thing that draws the eye is the tattoo on her wrist. I haven't seen anything like it on any website or in any tattoo store I've been to. She's trouble. The kind of trouble you want.

Mariko is new. Pretty, with glasses. Asian, so overachiever(probably pushed by her family) and definitely kind of distant. She hasn't found her clique yet, so she's not really friends with anyone.
Alex is a puzzle. Really, a big puzzle. She's like a blank slate. Not ugly at all, but not exactly pretty. She's so distant. The times I made conversation, she seemed so forgettable, as if trying to find her place. I wish there was some way to bridge the gap between us. She definitely is looking Raymonds way a lot lately. Is she like Samantha and power hungry or does she want Raymond like so many other people do?
Brock. Big. Dumb. Ugly. A jerk in every way. Criminal assault charges and definite ties to the Raymond gang for possession. Wrestling team fighter. He's been arrested multiple times, but coming from a rich family comes in handy again, he's not going to jail anytime soon. Bully of the worst kind. He'll get his.
Last is Marcus. First to class(driven by his mom), last to leave. Has a sister Moira who just started school. Odd and lonely, but he definitely has ties to Dekkard and Cage. He's into wicca stuff but keeps insisting he's a wizard, not a witch. I've seen odd stuff in his bag, from rat tails to old knuckle bones to old spell books. If that stuff works, someones in trouble.
